I rescued the two of them a week after christmas. They were "lucky" to be dumped less then a week from the time they were given as a gift - if they were kept by those people any longer, they would have died. They were quite starved and dehydrated, and very tiny. I've had them about a month, I guess? Judging by their growth rate with me, and based on their original size, I would put them at under a month old initialy...

Since then, the bold one has gotten 1.5" longer, and the stittish one (who was initialy in worse shape) 1" longer.

I think the two most important things for them are sunshine (or good amount of UVB lighting) and good food. Properly high humidity is important too, because the little ones dehydrate much faster than big igs. My little ones get to bask outdoors as much as possible and eat a good variety of healthy greens, including collard, mustard, turnip, dandelion, watercress, endive... Your little one is probably quite calcium deficient from his lettuce diet, so be extra-careful with him at first. He could break bones quite easily when they're when they're thin and brittle from lack of calcium. A vet visit and poop check for parasites is a good idea too, if you haven't done it already.

::Hi, I was wondering how old are the babies? I have just recieved a Iguana, that is about 7 months old, (from someone that didn't take care of him) and the poor fellow is only about the size of those babies. I working very hard with him, to get him back to health. His only diet untill two days ago was iceburg salad. He was kept in a 10 gallon tank, with only a heating stone. I could not beleive he has lived this long. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
