Can you handle him with so many spikes? I saw a few tiny babies being sold in the local petshops awhile ago. They were gorgeous!!What is sad is the fact that they had been caught from the wild and the mother was killed.

:A Couple weeks ago I posted about a Hedgehog I was taking in to prevent it's owners from freezing it to death. We named Him Tribble. And today was His first Vet visit. He has Mites and had overgrown Nails. Other then that, He's in perfect shape. Even a little chubby weighing in at 8.5 oz. He stole everyones hearts. The Vet was impressed at how "out going" He was. He uncurled for the vet to have a look at him and even walked around on the table for him. He of course Crused the Vet out when The Nails got clipped. You should have heard Him! Huffing away like there was no tomorrow! It was pretty funny. He was giving a shot of Ivecmetrin (sp?) and will have another in two weeks. Other then that, He's fine. The Vet gave me a paper on diet and told me "see you in two weeks". I'm pretty happy He's in such good shape. Anyway, Just thought I'd tell you. :) Pictures are on there way..... ;)
