When an iguana is healthy and is basking under good light and proper heat, it will be a bright green. The brighter, lighter the color, the more likely the enclosire is properly wamr or the animal itself.
Darker colors absorb heat more than lighter colors. Which is why when an iguana is 'cold' it turns dark, in order to abosorb as much needed heat as possible, no matter what UV bulb is there.
UV bulbs are mostly for porper lighting and calcium/D3 synthesis. Heat should come from another source.
Make sure the temperature is normal, and that your iguana is healthy as well. The reason is, when folks buy good UVA/UVB lamps, they usually see the opposite from your observations. Their igs show more vivid, brighter, lighter colors.
Double check everything, and let us know how it goes.
