I USED to have a black light bulb to add extra heat for my iguana, when she would lay on the back of a recliner in my computer room. One day she was too close to it, and I heard a SNORT POP! I turned around, and Iggi had sneezed on the black light bulb, and it broke from the cold sneeze. Fortunately, the glass did not fly out and hit Iggi.
I would recommend a CHE for heat, they are much more durable and safe.
