We are using a Vicks Ultrasonic Humidifier manufactured by Kaz. We only have to fill it once a day. Ultasonics have much more to offer than the old fashioned kind and output more humidity and less water drips. Also, there is a record of reduced bacterial growth with an ultrasonic model.
Unfortunately, I don't have any photos or know where you can find any. A pipe system is easy enough to install though using standard plumbing fixtures from Home Depot. You buy 1 PVC elbow, 2 straight runs of PVC slender enough to fit in the opening of the humidifier (with the cap off the humdifier of course), a rubber "boot" (I don't know what else they are called) and a plumbing fastner for PVC. You place one end of the PVC in the humdifer, use the boot and fastner to hold it in and make a seal, use the elbow to make a bend to attach the next piece of PVC. You wouldn't even have to cut a hole in the screen, you could use one more elbow to blow the humidity down into the cage.
