I use a food processor for my squash and veggies and freeze them in baggies for up to two months. Give enough in the baggy for about 3 days 4 tops then just take out a fresh bag. I have not frozen my salads tho- I thought about what they might look like or feel like after being frozen. So what I do is buy a couple of different greens for the week and chop them up, seal it in tupperware and I have it for the week. So I only shop once a week for greens and every month or two for veggies.

:Hi again everyone.....I feel like I post way to much and might be getting on some of your nerves.....lol, if that's the case, plz let me know.....in any event I have yet another question....

:I made my Igs a salad of everything (or most of everything recommended here)I went shopping and tried to get what was on the list, and thought I was doing great til I got home and realized that there was NO WAY they'd be able to eat this before it went bad and decided to freeze it.

:My question is this....how long can it be frozen before it shouldn't be fed to them. This morning I took out the frozen bag....about 4 days old and am thawing it out, but it doesn't look yummy. *grin* I know it won't look as fresh as *fresh* goes but I need to know how long I can freeze their yummies before they go bad. I froze the greens seperate from the squashes and such.....if that makes a difference.

:If I'm wrong in freezing their food.....how do you all feed them what they need to be fed without hitting the store every other day? I don't even do that for my children, lol....so I'm hoping that freezing is an option. (I haven't fed them the thawed goodies yet.....so plz, tell me if I can) Grrrrrrr!

:Thanx again for your patients......lol, I feel so stupid sometimes and have several other questions that I'm trying to find answers to on my own, so I don't have to bug you all as much......just reading all the posts here have helped a GREAT deal and have answered MANY questions, but as a *newbie to iguanas* it's a bit overwhelming at times....so again, I thank you for your patience and all your helpfull insight. :)

:Just wanting to give them the best...... : )
