Boy, you are a gluton for punishment. A pet store around here has a 15 year old aligator that was left over from that pet craze. His cage is a room with a pool and a viewing glass waist up. His name is Nasty Ed. The owner of the pet store has been his sole owner and feeder. He said that he couldn't sell him when he was little because he was so mean, hense the name. He said that the only time he and Nasty Ed have an understanding is at dinner time. Other times, like cleaning the enclosure, the owner gets chased all around the room. Another problem is that the owner says that he has been lucky that Nasty Ed has always been healthy as there is no vet in the state that will touch him. Actually I think Nasty Ed is the lucky one for not being sold and getting his own room with a pool. Don't know of anyone in this area with a 7ft aligator. They must have all died.

It must have been some pet craze as we have a law still on the books in this area that say an aligator must be on a leash when walking them in public. hehehe
