I am pretty sure it's ok to freeze, although I prefer to not. If I remember correctly, I think you need to add yeast when you thaw it out. You don't need to feed ALL of the stuff ALL of the time. One week buy a few of this, the other a few of that. Switch it up and give them variety!
remember, fresh is always best. ^_~
