I posted several weeks ago about an iguanu that i rescued from terrible living conditions. Unfortuntely, I had to make a difficult decision and have him euthanized. everything was going good until he suddenly stopped eating and was barley moving very lethargic. It turned out that years of improper feeding/housing and care may have lead to more damage than we intitially thought. afte more blood work and testing it was revealed that he had kidney/liver disease and wasnt recovering from the calcium defficiency and we could not get him to gain weught.. It broke my heart but I couldnt let him suffer. Atleast he had a good happy life the short time i did have him..
