shedding. Iguanas don't shed in one peice like snakes but in sections. Particualrly with young iguanas it sometimes seems like it is a constant ongoing process. When Zok sheds his back there is a very distinct line between where he is going to shed and his belly. The place preparing to shed is a light greyish white color right before it happens.
