not all of us have those cages for our iguanas. Also, i find that the cages you use are a bit small. A big enough enclosure is probably really pricy. It must be a pain in the butt to clean off the stuff that gets stuck on the grates too; think BBQ grill.
Most people use wood to build their enclosures, and the linoleum is a cheap and effective alternative. It does not harbor bacteria like a porous material such as astroturf or other possible substrate.
It all comes down to personal preference and finances in the end =)
