Well, if they're midway up Florida....this latest cold front might just change that range!
I've also heard rumor that the iguana has entered the Southern area of TX also.
If anyone is doing a study, they're most likely focused on what the iguana is doing to our environment and native wildlife since they don't belong here.
The release of non-native wildlife in our country, will only add fuel to the fire for anti-reptile keepers and cause new laws to appear that will block people from owning reptiles. If you know of anyone that releases non-native animals into the wild, please discuss with them, why they shouldn't be doing this.
