Depends on the size of the iguana and the cage.
I had a mesh cage indoor years ag 8x8x8 and i did manage to keep it proper with temp and 'humdty.

The bigger the merrier. As for free-roamer iguanas full-time.... think of the mas ferrets. Would you let one roam around freely all day unsupervised? Guessed not. Same with igs. Only under supervision or with humans in the home.

....you named it Guano? Does he smell like shhh...ehm....guano?
