:almost two weeks ago i got three new iguanas. They can from a rescued situation and are in pretty bad shape they were taken froma pet shop about 3 months ago and have been living at an animal shelter for about 3 months. they are still going through a court battle with the pet shop they took them from. The smallest one waighing in at 503 grams ( a little over a lb) is actually a rhino iguana. he went to the vet on tuesday and the vet confirmed what i had suspected partial paralysis and a broken back. being that we dont know how long he has been that way it is unknow if he will get better so i made some tank modifictaions, added some steps and some ramps to help him get around. the vet is putting him about 2 years of age or younger. Is there anything you can suggest to make things easier for him. the next biggest about 2 1/2 ft long with tail will be going to the vet next tuesday for a lump on his leg and soem funny twisted toes and the biggest one ( about 3 1/2 ft with only half a tail)will be going after that. Right now they are eating kale, colard greens, plums, grapes, squash, parsley, honey dew, tomates, grapes, yams, sweet potatoes, endive, yams, tofu and scrambled eggs. can any one suggest what else i may be feeding them to help them recover as much as possible. their food is alos supplemented with a reptile multi vitamin , repti cal and they are also sprayed daily with vita spray and every night they get a warm bath to help with their very dry skin. im open to any suggestions. sorry for the long post but thanks in advance for any help
