Hi all,
I might be ahead of myself here, but I'm just sooooo excited I can't stand it so I thought I would come share with you all...everyone else thinks I'm nutz! lol
My husband went to the pet store this morning to get some stuff I needed for some of my other animals and called me on the way home saying "Wow hon, you wouldn't believe the Iguana enclosure they had there!!" I asked him about them and he tried to tell me but ended up saying "ya know what, you'll have to go down and take a look, they're pretty nice"
SOOOOO, later on that's exactly what I did. WOW....they're really nice!! Not as big as it should be for a full grown Iguana, I know, but it's GREAT for the two I have right now...sure beats the 40 gal fish tank. There were a few actually.....but the one I really liked had the natural looking backing with the basking logs already attached. (the other ones were just glass)
I came home and was really excited and told him how much I liked it and how wonderfull it would be for these guys. He asked if it would be big enough and I told him it would be GREAT for, I'm sure, 1 1/2 - 2 years....and in that time we could build a larger one. He hymm-&-hawed and acted UNinterested....but he just left with the kids and won't answer his cell phone......I THINK HE WENT TO BUY IT FOR THEM!!! I almost can't believe it, cuz like I said before he's afraid of them and can't understand why I love them so much.
Okay...I'm taking a breath!! lol. Cross your fingers for my lil' guys.....they may be getting a great enclosure soon!!

Oh and BTW the enclosure is (and I'm not positive but I think it's 2 1/2L X 2 1/2D X 3 1/2H. I know they'll need something larger soon....but I'm sure you'll agree that it beats what they have now. Ya think?? (My biggest Ig is 17 3/4" long...just babies) This enclosure should be great for now....right???
