Each iguana has a different overall personality, but as long as you are vigilant about keeping connected to him (continue handling as he will allow every day, talking to him alot, etc), you should see some real improvement after a few months. Most of the iguanas I have seen starting to be 'trained' were around the six month range. they will still scamper, but are much more comfortable when they have grown a bit and do not feel so overwhelmend by your HUGENESS. **giggles**

You are a GIANT to him, and it wil take some time for him to begin to feel safer, as well as get accustomed to the handling through your continued efforts with him now. Of course, if you ignore him now because he is so skittish, it will take longer later on to get him back used to handling, so it pays to keep handling and be patient!

: Well I know the rubbing his nose thing against the glass is bad for him, I thought I said that but I guess not. He doesnt sleep ever in my hand, just last night because it was quite late and I had to move him for a second. So how long will it be before he just calms down?
