If he's still strong and active, I wouldn't worry too much about it, he's just settling in. Make sure he has lots of baths to keep him hydrated, and always has food/water available if he wants it, but you'll be fine for a few days yet if he's active and healthy. When I brought Tempest home, he was the same way, wouldn't eat for over 3 weeks and he had me in a panic, my vet told me to just wait it out if I could, and he finally started eating like crazy. He was just stressed from abuse and being moved, and he was so thin! Sounds like you're offering him lots of good food, keep it up he'll come around.

:HELP, I just recently adopted a 5 yr old iguana form someone who said they coulndt maintain him anymore. I have had him for 6 days, I have him scheduled for vet apmt in 2 days, that earliest i can get, need help now though, please reply to crusader@guardlink.net if possible, i will check periodically throughout day. I have been offering a diet of dry commercial food by kaytee adult dry, and exo terra adult in another bowl, also offer veggies of collards greenin inch cutlets, diced carrots, diced red grapes, and muched apples, His cage is 5 ft long by 3 ft wide by 3 ft tall, he has to baskinng logs and shelf to lay on, also has heating pad, two basking lights, and plenty of cooling spaces, i know he should have some day of settling in new home, I am his thrid owner and iguana appears healthy, no signs of MBD< I have tried giving him luke warm bath, he has only defacated twice in 6 days, and barely eaten in my presence with no signs while I am gone, he is active and moves around frequenthly when I am feeding and watering, Please reply with any advice, I know the nest is the vet, but this is urgent
