:Heya! Well, for those of you who remember, earlier this year I said I was looking for a good home for my new pet Iguana. Trns out my mom's become a tad more understanding about Ziggy's needs, so I'll be keeping her. BUT, well, it seems to me that she isn't eating much AND she hasn't had an BM in about three days. She's still just a baby, so I KNOW this isn't even remotely healthy. I try to get her to take a soak, but she HATES BATHS. Seriously. Won't stay still in one for more than a minute. Keeps on trying to climb up my arm. Cute little critter, but annoying when one is trying to keep her from being constipated. She's pretty active, as far as I can tell. Likes to just laze around and bask, but also moves around a lot when I get her out. I've looked around her cloacal vent, no obvious swelling. Felt around lightly a bit, seemd to have a little bump around there, but I can't be sure. I'v been feeding her a nice variety, including turnip greens, clementine peels, a bit of apple, some red cabbage, broccoli, sometimes some carrot, sometimes some green cabbage, sometimes some peas, sometimes some mustard sprouts. Just anything I'm fairly sure won't kill her if she eats a bit that I have lying around the kitchen. Should I try something else? And how on EARTH am I to get her to sit still in a bath long enough to induce some BMs? I've been told by an ex-iguana mum that if I just put some tupperware with a cage or something around it so she can't get out, her banging around it won't hurt her any...I told her little kids weren't meant to be hurt too much from running into walls, either, and my nephew once came home with a concussion. So I'm a bit of a skeptic. :) Anyway, any help is much appreciated, I'm a bit worried about Ziggy!
