Maybe they have new people working at that store.
As for farmraised iggies not being afraid, as I understand it, one place, Fluker Farms I believe, always makes sure that there is someone present when a clutch hatches, so that babies see a human face and are imprinted. I think mine was too. I've had two and this one continues to surprise me at how calm and unafraid he is.
