Cirsisue can tell you that an ig bite is no fun! She woke me out of a sound sleep after Caesar, (5 ft+ male ig) tried to mate with her foot! The bite was awful! I've been bitten by savannah monitors on occasion, not fun, but an igs bite is far worse! Respect an ig, they are nice critters, but should they panic, watch out! I still would'nt feel my life was complete without an ig in my life, just always bear in mind that igs are highly instinctual creatures and the calm lizard one minute can turn into a Tasmanian devil given the right set of circumstances.
