This is the problem I am running into.... Most males do not get this bad, so I am not finding much info on how to deal with it...
Dexter used to like mirrors when he was younger, however his reflection will throw him into a rage now. I had to coverup the mirrors in my bathroom because he would purposely go into the bathroom and climb up to the mirror because he knew there was another iguana in there... I was afraid he would hurt himself.
:Tarzan doesn't get aggressive at all. As a matter of fact, when he's not in breeding season he displays at the mirror non-stop and actually seeks it out. When he is in breeding season, he's a big 'ol scaredy cat and displays very submissive (but often inquisitive) body posture towards his reflection.
:The only change in his behavior is a severe loss of appetite so far. (knock on wood!)
