What vet do you use and would you feel comfortable referring them to people?
Cindy
:Well as i am taking Lizzy to vet Saturday I decided to go to local drug store,(Walgreens) to buy a hot water bottle.
:This I can fill with warmer water and wrap in a blanket to transport Lizzy to vet for her checkup.
:So looking and looking in the heating pad section, can't find one. I ask the clerk as I pay for a few other items and she has no idea if they sell them or not.
:A friend on another board tells me to look in the section where they sell enema and or douche items, I was a little cinfused but yes it's the same bottle only with a few attachments.
:Still could not find anything along those lines either. So I get an e-mail from yet another friend who sends a link to said drug store with a picture of bottle I needed.
:I was glad of this because if I had to purchase one of the other items I was sure hoping it would scan and no one would have to go over a loud speaker asking for a price check.
:So now I have the bottle and yes I know to make sure Lizzy is not on the bottle itself but to cover it well.
:I live in Chicago and temps have been about 5 or so and wind chill was wicked lst few days. Will heat the car for a while also before I take her out, she will be covered and warm.
:Hubby driving so I can hold my Lizzy baby in my lap and make sure she stays warm enough, vet about half hour ride away, not so bad.
