The boy you see in that photo was bought/rescued from a very very filthy street petmarket. He was squalid, caged in a chicken cage and his nose was nothing but blood!!
He does not look so bad now what do you think???

so i picked up the iguana i rescued today.. man what bad shape he is in. he is about 5yrs old 4 ft long and has spent the better part of his life confined to a cage 3x3x2.5. since he has spent his entire life without climbing he has no muscles and cant climb at all cant even manage to walk up a elevated ramp. I have him set up in a xtra large dog crate ( i have st. bernards so its a huge crate) until he can build up some muscle mass. vet reccommended not letting him climb very high until he does due to risk of falling.im hoping that given time he will recover and be ok. cant figure out why these people didnt give him up sooner. just wondering if anyone else has rescued a neglected iguana and how things turned out.
