I think you are a great igs mom!!Its weird the weather is not hot over there. Here the temp varies from 85 to 90F!!And its the rainig season!!!!During the dry season, its too hot even for my igs!!They beg me to go indoors when its too hot outdoors!LOL!About the food, i give to my igs everything that is dark green but not too much kale and spinash. They like lots of local greens that are not found in the USA!!Another day i gave them water chest. They liked it.Do you have coconut in Filipinas? In Brazil we have lots of and it seems iguanas like to eat it too!

:Ok thank you.But the weather has been kinda colder than usual these past few days.Is it the same there? It should be warmer and more humid here cuz we're closer to the equator. My adult and other Juvinille is doing fine without the light. The weak one is slowly recovering but I havent taken it out of the heat light yet.Isoak it every day now.Am I doing the right thing?

::If the weather is the same as in Malaysia the level of humidity must be around 80 or 90%, right??So if you give water to your igs and if you give them weekly baths i dont think they could be dehydrated.Perhaps your ig had worms. When I de-wormed my igs they stopped eating for a few days.If your ig was already weak and stayed a few days without eating he became much more weak. But when he starts eating again he will become more strong. But dont stop hand feeding it!!

::@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ i:Last monday, I had my Juvinille Ig examined by the vet, He said it was skinny...he gave it vaccinations. One was deworming and the other one is so that my Ig will get its appitite back.A few days later(friday) I noticed my iguana with its eyes closed during the day and it seemed weak. When I picked it up, it wasnt as jumpy as it usually is. Anyway,I put it under an Infared heat bulb 24hours. It got its strenght back and it eats cuz I hand feed it sometimes. The skin is still very loose. Is it because it is dehydrated? What can I do to make it healthy again? I feed it a varaition of Green leaves and it gets sunlight everyday.Thanks. Oh.if it helps...I have a 6 year old healthy ig that I raised since she was a juvinille also...nevert had this problem with her although when she was still a juvi, I had the same vet check up on her and he gave the same vaccinations after examining her stool.
