So Bill,
I've been seeing your posts and others' replies to them.

You have to understand that this is a forum where people who are passionate about these animals come here to discuss proper husbandry (captive care), and to help one another in any way possible.

When a person comes here saying a few white lies, with a story to rival the show "Animal Precinct", and not showing proper interest in the animal(s), you start to get different, and often "colorful" reactions.

You keep calling the animal "this thing". Why can't you call it iguana or lizard? Since you do have internet access, or a bookstore nearby, all you had to do is search it up on the web or in a book, call the SPCA, and have them take care of it. And c'mon... fries and burgers are not so good for us, u think they are ok for a reptile??? For a mere $5 you could have bought a simple iguana care book at a petstore. They are a bit out-dated, but provide with fair basic care information.

The post regarding petstore reliability was the icing on the cake. Petstores have always been the worse places to get exotic animals from, since they got them wild-caught, full of bacteria and parasites. In the last couple of years things are better, but they are still selling reptiles that are near death.

I think, and some may agree with me, that this is all a show. I mean, you managed to write almost everything that is wrong about the care of these animals, the classic cliche`s, and refusing to believe these animals are indeed vegetarian. So I hope you had your fun, chances are you will soon be booted out, and all will be forgotten. Since you do not sound capable of properly care for this animal, let the SPCA take care of things. If you want a pet, I suggest you buy yourself a Chia pet...or a rock.

Sorry things turned out wrong for u here, but between the terrible spelling (vegitables???) and the num-nuts attitude things were bound to go sour.

You're lucky this is one of the more peaceful forums. The monitor forum would have set up a lynch mob for you.
Unless you plan to change your attitude toward the animal and be seriously concerned for its well-being, don't bother writing here anymore. Sorry.
