iz`s mom you are right, i teach cpr here for my job and that is one of the deadliest things to give a person. peanut butter is very very difficult to remove from a persons throat once it gets stck there. the aha says that you should add lots of jelly to the peanut butter and serve it with somethng to drink before giving it to a child. i never thought about that being the same for an ig. i have never given pb to my ig, i was just curious why it was never listed as a good food source considering its high protien content. i was thinking it was because of the high fat content in it, but, yes it sticking in an igs mouth would definitely be a concern. thanx for the enlightenment! =)

: i would worry about the pb sticking in their throat since igs don't chew and they'd eat it in one big chomp .... i *think* you're not s'posed to give pb to very small kids for the same reason ...? they could conceivably suffocate ... ????
: well, that's *my* worry-wart opinion anyway ...*grin*
