Dino, the ig that i adopted 3 weeks ago is sleeping in my hand right now.He was wild as a little green devil when he arrived home.If you keep them and tame them from now i dont believe they will attack you one day!!

::Are you going to keep them?::

:That's a tough one. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. I already have my two big guys, thogh so far, they've shown no interest in the babies. The babies are impossibly, adorably, irresistably cute right now, and I am already getting attached to them. I just don't know if I'll be able to keep FOUR big iguanas...

:Right now, the little wrigglets are very easy to house and feed. They think/act a lot like the big adults, but they are so small! Am I doing them a disservice by keeping them untill they get bigger? Maybe a year or so? I don't know... I am hestiant to find homes for them right now - I'm afraid someone would want to take them because they're so cute and small, but might dump them once they grow up. Even if they know the proper care and keeping of an iguana, it just doesn't compare to the experience of the real thing. I heard similar stories several times - "I had this iguana for years, and it was so sweet, and then it suddenly bit me. Of course I got rid of it, I just couldn't trust it anymore."

:*sigh*
