Yep...I read a lot about it from CheriS on the beardie forum too. It is horrible. I have not heard of it being spread to iguanas but I really don't know whether it is possible or not.
The best thing you can do is quarintine your new animal, and get that fecal check. I was scared Flapjack had it after reading stuff and emailed Cheri back and forth until we determined he really couldn't have it (just a paranoid mommy). He has always been a bit of a runt and never seems to eat as much as other people's dragons. However, he is over 4 years old now and fairly healthy aside from occasional parasites. He also has been acting more spunky since after this brumation.
After you get your (very fresh) fecal sample tested, it may give you more insight. If he is coccidia free, I think it is less likely he has it. Don't worry if he has pinworms or something else that is easily treated. Even the presence of coccidia isn't the worst news and doesn't mean he has the adenovirus, but it is more reason to watch for other symptoms I guess. Good luck and don't let all this get you down.
