As far as your profession... good for the snakes. Mice are part of the foodchain after all. I prefer non mammal eating lizards to snakes, myself. (but that's because I would be a bit skirmish with that mice feeding thing) I had a super intelligent hamster as a kid so rodents are pretty neat in my book! (She would come when I called...she was a great escape artist...she had babies on Christmas day....and after running away for a week outside, she came home and scratched on the door to be let back in! She was the best!)
LOL...my male hamster wasn't so bright.
