Here are my babies, Fluffy and the baby. (Haven't named the baby yet) Fluffy was found outside in October. (pennsylvania) And was near death. Actually, when I first saw her I thought she was dead. I could get my fingers arond her she was so thin, and has MBD from whoever owned her before me. (I'd love to know who it was!) My baby is great, although also had a tramatic start in life. (You may remember the "tail wagging" post.) The baby was almost frozen to death being shipped to a petstore in a plastic bag near Christmas.
Fluffy is 10" svl, and the baby is a bit over 3" svl... I want them both to have a great life and be spoiled rotten. Which leads me to my question.
Ok, I don't post often here, but spend a lot of time reading. I've looked up Hibiscus on the Net and came up with many different kinds.
Hibiscus syriacus,
- hardy hibiscus
- hibiscus flowers
- Hibiscus rosa-sinensis
- Hibiscus sabdariffa
- hibiscus plant
- hibiscus tree
- hibiscus tea
- Hibiscus moscheutos
- Hibiscus cannabinus
What can you tell me about these? Are they all Iguana safe? Also, from reading all of your posts, it seems that these are just treats, right?
Not a part of the everyday diet.
Is there anywhere I can get just the flowers? Or do I need to buy the plants and just offer the flowers when they bloom? (I'm good with animals,
but can kill any plant in no time!)
Thanks for all your help, sorry no Poop stories. (Unless Fluffy "letting loose" in the family room while I was holding her counts!) *LOL*
