Stating that someone who made some valid points in a respectable and reasonable manner is attempting to start a flame war is simply insulting.
G-Money, or whatever the poster's name was, did not present the topic in a respectable or reasonable manner. From what I remember, s/he said that if you follow MK's advice then your animal will die, her information is all wrong, and other things of the sort. Would you call that reasonable and respectable? G-Money did not even post reasons for his opinions. If G-Money initiated the thread with a satement such as "After reading the information on Melissa Kaplan's webpages, I don't feel that her data is valid. Has anyone else noticed anything similar to this? What do you think of the information on her webpages?" I don't think we'd be here talking about this.
Don't pass judgement on this forum because of one ugly instance. We do our best to be informative and helpful here, and when someone like G-Money posts a topic, which I personally saw as a childish attempt to ammuse him/herself, of course we're going to ruffle our feathers.
I think that the moderation here is a bit extreme at times, but that's the way it is. Life is not fair, and in most cases no one is going to bend over backwards to make it nice for a single individual among the billions out there.
