Monte runs around his cage too no matter what I do. But once I get him out of his home he seems to change, he gets curious and wants to look around and be carried or sometimes just crawls off me and just roams around. He will come on the couch where I am but has not yet just come into my lap. So if he comes back somewhere close to me I call that a big achievement. LOL Just keep trying and it does seem that once they are out the change, don't know if it is just Monte or what but that is what I am finding.
:I have asked a lot about taming my iguana. The first thing I am told is pick him up! That's the problem! Guano is everywhere when i stick my hands in his cage. I tried the stick your hands in there without touching him thing. but when goin to the next step(petting him), he still runs! Please help! I don't mean to be impatient, but I have been tryin for a couple months now!
