You're 100% correct in this being the wrong forum for this thread, since MK's iguana info is known to be of good quality. However, since iguana owners are far more likely to look at her as a source of credible info since she's got a lot of good iguana info on her site, it's not unlikely they'll give her other caresheets a look if they acquire another herp. How many people do you know that own just one herp? Not many. So, in light of that, Seamus's post below bears scrutiny.

There is wrong info on her site regarding other herps, and I've noticed it before, at least in regards to species I'm more familiar with. However, I never attributed it to anything other than simple error. Quite a few of her caresheets are written by other people, and are probably not for species she has had direct contact with. I always thought of her old site as an effort to collect an disseminate info, which is a good thing. Anyone with any critical sense should know enough to cross reference any information found on the web in any case.

That said, I did find one article rather disturbing. I'll link it below, but the upshot is that a reptile "expert" who has admitted to having had "hundreds" of herps die in his care, comes to the conclusion that herps are not suitable as pets. MK did not write that article, but she hosts it, and that's an endorsement. There's not one mention I could find of how weak this "expert's" ethics are to kill so many animals through his lack of knowledge.

I think that breeders who rely on KS to sell their animals should be aware that the site is affiliated with someone who would host this garbage for whatever reason.

Note the title, as well. We're all repulsive, folks...
