: Anyway, I have heard of the blue iguana. Read about them somewhere; don't remember where; I read way too much! As I recall, however, the blueness of them fades to normal green as they mature in to adults. If I can find where I read this, I'll leave you a note.

The thing is though, they advertised it as a blue iguana, so I'll see when I get there (still haven't gotten ahold of them yet though) and check it out. As for it's blueness fading when they grow... this one is already 4' long. If it was gonna get rid of it's blue shouldn't it ahve already? :) But then again, they could be advertising it as being blue while it's ready to shed or something. I know what to check for in this case obviously. But even so, $50.00 is cheap for an iguana (even green) of this size, including a cage so I'm bound to at least check it out and hopefully it will be fairly tame, and hopefulkly they aren't storing it in some 20 gallon tank or something. For $50.00 I have a feeling it's cage is going to be way too small for it and currently I have nothing bigger for it myself unless the cage it comes in is big enough for it. Of course I cxan remedy that situation quickly if need be.
