UVB light

Ok, I just bought this new UVA UVB bulb. I haven't used it yet. I was just recently exposed to the need for UVA and UVB. Yet another thing the pet store owners "forgot" to tell me. (They told me i could keep it in a dog kennel with a heat rock and feed it lettuce!). I never bought a heat rock. Thank God! Anyways, this light is called "Super UV Coil-Lamp." It's by ESU Reptile. It gives off 3% UVB and 15% UVA. Is this good? Is this safe? I just want a healthy ig! Thanks for your help!
