I don't think handfeeding them is too much of a problem as long as you don't exclusively do it. It is a good way to tame/build trust in my opinion.
Yeah, as others mentioned, get rid of the bark. If you don't think you will want 2 iguanas later, you may want to return one to the store or find a good home for it now. 2 iguanas will be a lot of work and space.
