It's amazing how quickly the two little ones have filled out since friday. I guess all your good wishes helped, they are even peeing clear liquid + normal slimy white urates now. (funny how glad I am to see them pee!) Still no poop, but that's understandable because they were mainly drinking water. They looks almost normal, still skinny but quite unshriveled right now. They are not eating much, nothing if left on their own, but with strategic dangling of tiny collard shreds I've gotten a few bits of food into them. Man, how do you guys do it? I have to use a razor blade to make super-fine shreds of the greens - total amount of about a teaspoonfull, half of which they may eat. My big guys are so easy in comparison - I just hold the leaves and let'em rip.
I changed their accomodations a bit since they started to be more active - they are now in a bigger cage, with a warmer basking spot. They climb and move around, so I feel confident in their ability to get OUT of the heat when nessesary. Still keeping them at 100% humidity though.
They are already showing different personalities. The bigger one is quite bold - he makes normal eye contact, moves around, eats faster, and generaly seems more relaxed in my presence. The little one either gets "crazy eye" and hides, or freezes and closes his eyes when he notices me looking at him. If I squint my eyes and hold perfectly still, he will eventualy move and eat the thing I dangle in front of his nose. Feeding him is like a yoga exercise, trying to hold still longer than he does.
I'll work on getting some pics of them...
