It is important to have atleast an annual vet visit for your iguana. No matter how much you have researched on iguanas, you still can't always recognize the signs of illness. Being reptiles, they often don't display any signs of illness until it is too late. Having a blood count and fecal annually is very important, even if the iguana is healthy.
