CW said it exactly right in the thread that spawned this one... "Part of being an informed and mature adult, whether you are six or sixty, is the ability to support your statement and honestly answer questions. I think that when you are ready to do that, you will gain a lot more respect and support in your positions."
By verbally attacking people who were simply concerned and trying to help (whether it be the iguana or you) you have proven your level of maturity. If you were mature, you would have taken the chance to explain your situation and GAIN the respect of the community. But instead you chose to blow your top and attack the very people who were trying to help!
Next time man, take a CHILL PILL, read it a couple times, FIGURE OUT why they're asking these questions, and respond honestly! People here aren't going to rip your head off it you're doing something wrong, but they WILL tell you when you are. By responding the way you did, you are not only going to make people very reluctant to try to help you in the future... but you are also giving up a chance to FIX anything you're possibly doing wrong!
