I have my own beefs with both GIS and the Ig Den so I'll refrain from further comment on them....
And as anyone who has spent any time surfing the net knows - NEVER rely on information found solely on one individual site. It is always better to reference several sites and if the same information is found there's a greater chance (although still not definitive) that the information is correct.
Several participants on this board have excellent ig sites. I'm sure everyone will be more than happy to throw up a favorite link or two. Check out as many of them as you can. You can never know enough about proper husbandry and at the same time you will be getting a better feel for what is correct information and what is "bad info".
Also, get a copy of James Hatfield's "Green Iguana: THe Ultimate Owner's Manual" ASAP. I've found it to be one of the most comprehensive books on ig husbandry to date. Check the prices at Herpsupplies.com for it and everything else you may need. (John, where's my check ?)
