Finally an ig owner from a tropical country!!!!Im not alone

You know, I was feeling pretty lonely in this FORUM where everybody is concerned with artificial lighting and heating!!No, I dont do anything to keep my 6 (yes, six!!) igs warm and healthy, just sunlight.The true one!!Yes, its very easy to raise them.I just give them veggies and greens and try to keep them separated, because almost all of them are males and you know how males are...Always fighting and bullying each other!!!(he...he...he...I have a husband and a son...I know what Im talking about...).The fact of my 2,5 years old ig (his name is TREX)to be in that cage was an accident.He does not live there.He entered the cage because he is too much curious and could not go out.
I dont give any extra vitamin to TREX to keep his bright color...His color didnt fade thats all.I have another ig which color didnt fade.On the beggining I thought that this other iguana was a female and I named it Shena but another day I saw its " parts" and I know now its a male.Now I call him Shena/Sherman.
Im glad to know you speak Portuguese,that you have been to Rio, and that you have Brazilian friends.How big is the Brazilian community in Manila? Here, in Kuala Lumpur there are around 20 Brazilians.Mainly women married with expatriates.
I have around 30 reptiles at home.Im the type of person that likes to rescue turtles, mainly pignosed or fly river turtle, from bad petshops and to treat them at home.Yes, my 5 pignosed I rescued with rotten shells are doing great!I rescue turtles from restaurants and food fairs too.Thats why I have so many!!
I suppose the weather in Kuala Lumpur and in Manila is just the same.The " winter " here this year is particulary humid.I suppose the humidity level must be around 150%!!!LOL.Im moulding, really!The temperature is around 30 C (95F).

I would like to visit your country!How many hours from Kuala Lumpur, by airplane, do you happen to know??

:Porque teu nome estar nome brasiliera.Eu viajar do Rio De Janeiro duaz vezes.For 3 months each time. Eu aprender para fala portugues.Im not that good at it. And I've alot of Brasilian friends.I saw the pic of your 3 year old ig in that small cage and he still has a very green color.how'd you keep him that way? Is it the veggies you give? Do you sprinkle vitamins in their food? How long have you been taking are of igs? What other reptiles do you have? I wonder if we have the same weather here in the Phil. as you have in Malaysia cuz I just keep my animals in an enclosure outside my house.I dont provide them with all the special lighting they talk about here. Just the sun.If you have any insights on this id appreciate it very much. Muito Obrigado, Ciao.
