OK... we have a master bedroom set up for iguanas, snakes, and monitors. In fact, last time I checked, there was around 20 free roaming iguanas, 4 Burmese Pythons (caged), 1 savannah, 1 nile, 2 water monitors, and a few other various snakes in the room.
As for setup - linolium on the floor AND walls... I Swear, iguanas learn the strange ability to THROW poop after a while ;-)
Wire shelves serve as basking spots all the way around the room, and poop falls through them easily onto the newspaper on the floor.
Basking areas are set up with active UV lights, flourescent UV lights, and heat pads. There is also a few 250 watt "chill chasers" set up for extreme basking temps (monitors) just off the floor.
The room is heated to 80-85 degrees F with a 1500 watt oil radiator heater covered with it's own "cage" to keep the animals off it.
For your closet, you can do a lot of similar things, just on a smaller scale. Consider replacing the closet door with a screen door or something else you can see through... You don't want him just closed off to the world...

:Hey everyone. I've posted a few times, but not too much.
:I'm here from the Gecko forums I frequent, and have a question or two.
:I've had my Ig for about 2 weeks now, and have been debating turning my walk-in closet into his new "tank".
:He's still only a juvie, but I wanted to know if anyone had any tips for setting up a closet for an Iggy.
:Also, any pictures would be GREATLY accepted. Thanks!
