Although I rescued my last iguana who was very messed up with burns and various infections, I'm sorry to say I did get Sleestack from a petstore. I got him from one that had older iguanas and appeared to be feeding them properly, although they were very overcrowded. Had I to do it over again, I would have rescued again, but I think it was too soon for me to get another iguana period. I wasn't over my grief and was sure if I got one without anything wrong with him, I could give him a good life and everything would be perfect. I didn't want him to die so soon. The funny thing is, you bond more with the rescues or the ones with problems anyway. I love my Sleestack but it's not quite the same...
