the depth ais ok, and the height is good, but at 4 feet in length is no good for when the animal will tip at 4 feet or grow at 5 and beyond. Save urself the hassle, and try to see if you can add those two extra feet either at the depth or the length. that way, you'll have 6x4x6.
As for designs there are many.
glass all-around
3 walls of plastic, front of glass
" " " wire mesh
" " plastic, front of glass or mesh
rubber coated wire mesh all around (make sure it is humid and warm enough!)
etc.
try to fix the size, then get to work.
