My iggies wont stay under the heat lamp

Hi, I have two 2 year old iguanas and i let them roam the living room. In the morning I put them on top of the 6 foot tall mesh cage with a heat lamp hanging from the ceiling. Lately when i put them up there, they come down right away and just want to climb the curtains and lay across the drape rods.

I would have no problem with this, but its around 70 in the house and they should be getting more heat. I dont want to resort to putting them inside the cage because they hate it. what should i do? thanks.
