Attachment to eggs

I was told that igs are attached to their eggs, and that's why i was so persistant on hatching them. w/ this info, i got the idea that if i tried to take them from her, it would upset her and something worse would happen. thanks so far for the info, but please excuse the wrong info that i have received.
