Well it sounds like it could be serious. At first I was thinking breeding behavior...because sometimes these things happen when they are trying to release seminal plugs, but the restless nights and pooping at night sounds all wrong. Get some blood work done by a reputable herp vet...the numbers can help point to what is going on. Take a fresh fecal sample in too (like an hour or less old)...perhaps he's got worms or parasites. Good luck.
