Poor Hercules

Hercules must not feel too good. I went in tonight (I avoid this until he is asleep but wanted to get some water in him)and saw that his lip is not cut anymore it has split up to his nostril almost. I called the doctor the other day about the cut and she told me to put maxi-guard (mouth cleaning stuff)on his cut and rubbed lip. I don't think that maxi-guard will work anymore. I think he will need it super glued together again. Anyone else have this problem and it healed on its own? I also saw that the top of his lip is bloody and red.
I don't know what else to do that I haven't done already. He is in his own room and has minimal contact with me. I HAVE to go in there and feed him, change papers, and give him a bath. Most times he will run full force into the cage and cause his mouth to bleed even when he is really sleepy. Any suggestions from anyone? I try spraying him in the face before he reaches the cage bars but that only sometimes works.
Fustrated!
Janeen
