Hi Judy

We use a harness on Lola...the first thing we did was to let her wear it around the house..she got use to it in a matter of oh....let's say 30 minutes. Then we took her outside and let her in a cage for a few times....with harness on. After that we put the leash on the harness....and....AWAY she went...climbing our small tree in the front yard.....checkin out the squirrels and people coming by. She likes it now..gives her a chance to roam around in open air. WARNING: Do NOT let go of the leash...they can and will run fast and climb fast. If you have a tree that is taller then 8 feet I'd hold on to the leash at all times. Our tree is small and bushy..she likes to sit in it and watch people...of course thinkin she's invisible to everyone!!
Good luck if you choose to try it.

Harry's Dad
