I recently moved my iguana, Hercules to another room. He was in the dining room which was open to several rooms but he became to aggressive and started hurling himself at the cage when I went by. He and the cage where moved to a room to himself. It is very nice and comfy in there. I have the warm mist humidifier running all day with his day lights. Its about 80 degrees in the room itself and humid. My husband has been turning his lights on and off and I have been going in at night to change the papers and feed after he has gone to sleep. I have tried to go into the room when he is awake but he becomes really aggressive and I don't want him to hurt himself so I don't stay. However, he doesn't act like this at all with my husband! Hercules is very calm when my husband goes in there and turns lights on and off. My husband has never had anything to do with him in the past (I think my husband is a little afraid of him). It kind of hurts my feelings because when Hercules sees me he puffs up, hisses, and lunges at the cage. He has never acted this bad before during breeding season. Do you think it is just breeding season?
